Hotel Aguas Claras

Inspired by traditional banana plantation houses, Hotel Aguas Claras is a stylish boutique hotel located on Chiquita Beach, Puerto Viejo on the remote Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. With an emphasis on tranquility and delicate decor, Aguas Claras does not accommodate children under 12 years of age.

The Papaya Restaurant

The Papaya Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily. This laid-back open-air space is poolside with refreshing sea breezes. Enjoy a menu that focuses on fresh, local ingredients while sipping cocktails crafted by their in-house mixologist.

Pavlolva Suites

Pavlova Suites is a Victorian Row House in a complex strip by the restaurant and pool area. There are six rooms with king beds and one room with two double beds. Each room has a minibar, sofa, desk, small living room table, and an outdoor open-air shower on a private wooden Moroccan-style semi-open terrace.

Bungalows

The bungalows include the Cacao Honeymoon Suite, Kuakua Honeymoon Suite, One-Bedroom Bungalow, and Two-Bedroom Bungalows. There are two honeymoon bungalow options: Kuakua and Cocao. The one-bedroom bungalow options are Csaa Biriba and Casa Frutapan. The two-bedroom bungalow options are Casa Coral and Casa Magnolia.

All of the private bungalows are modern Caribbean-Victorian-style houses with recycled furniture, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The bungalows feature ample space, a semi-open shower, a mini bar, a/c in bedrooms, fans, an amenity gift bag, and solar-powered batteries.

2-Bedroom Bungalows

The 2-bedroom bungalows feature 820 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space for 4 people. This would be a nice option for 2 couples traveling together or a family of 4. The bungalows feature complete privacy surrounded by jungle. Each bedroom has a full bathroom and a king-sized bed. Two twin beds are also available.

New 2-Bedroom Deluxe Bungalows

The new two-bedroom deluxe bungalow at Hotel Aguas Claras offers an ideal mix of luxury and privacy. It is 798 square feet with a private plunge pool and open-air living space. This is great for two couples or a family of 4. Each bedroom has a full bathroom with a king-size bed.
