Lost Iguana Resort

This boutique resort is surrounded by the beauty of the jungle. Built on the mountainside, Lost Iguana Resort has amazing and direct views of both the forest and Arenal Volcano.  A wildlife guide works at the resort to answer questions, act as a guide for groups, and help to book tours.

Lost Iguana Resort also has the Blue Hibiscus Restaurant, an open-air restaurant with a romantic feel and volcano views. There is a freshwater pool, with a waterfall, and a hot pool above with a swim-up bar. There is also a tropical bar.

The Golden Gecko Spa on the property has a gymnasium, saunas, and private bungalows for massages. There are few things better than being pampered after a long day of exploring, relaxing to the sounds of nature. Lost Iguana Resort is also great for birdwatchers, with trails that run along the river and have benches for relaxing. Trails, saunas, and gym are complimentary for all guests.

Lost Iguana Rooms

Rooms at Lost Iguana Resort contain satellite television, A/C, ceiling fans, private balconies, daily breakfast, and coffee service. They may contain either a King-size bed or two full-size beds, each with quality cushion-topped mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets. Enjoy the luxurious decorations, featuring both local and international artwork. Traveling as a family or in a group? The Lost Iguana Resort has a number of Villa Suites and Las Casitas – each have two bedrooms as well as a separate living area and a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, and stovetop.

Both the Villas Suites and Las Casitas have large balconies or patios with a private jacuzzi. Expect amazing volcano and jungle views from these rooms, which are set off from the rest of the resort to offer some privacy. Traveling with kids? Cribs and bunk beds are available!
